Every state and area has its own local news source. Connecticut happens to have a wide variety of television stations, newspapers, and sports organizations. Each do unique work to share stories with their communities.

This map created on Google Maps shows where each of the news outlets are headquartered in Connecticut. You can see there are more newspapers than anything else. These are shown with the blue newspaper graphic. The five television stations are in red and ESPN, the one sports journalism outlet in the state, is in green.

Using Google Maps to visualize where different places are is extremely helpful. It helps a viewer understand their location in relation to other destinations and can quickly give someone a lot of information.
